Focus Scripture: Genesis 37
Today’s podcast is the first in a series that examines the life of Joseph, the son of Jacob and descendent of Isaac and Abraham. When adversity strikes, we often ask ourselves, “Why me?” or “What did I ever do to deserve this?” And no matter how hard we work at trying to avoid hardships, there are times when we have no choice, and a trial hits us head-on. Perhaps no one can better relate to adversity than Job (pronounced Jobe), who one day lost his children, his livelihood, and his wife and friends all turned against him. Talk about having a bad day! However, Joseph is another historical figure in the Bible who faced some significant hardships. As always, my prayer is that God will speak to your heart through today’s message to help you grow closer in your daily walk with our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.Adversity,
