You’ve Got Mail (Part 1)

Episode Notes:

Focus Scripture: Revelation 3:14-22

This past summer, I came across a sermon that I preached nearly 10-years ago. It was my first sermon and while my other classmates were given other topics from different books in the Bible, I somehow got the lucky straw and was assigned to preach from the book of Revelation. I thought to myself, “What! That’s probably the hardest book in the Bible from which to preach an expositional sermon. I remember it well as if it were only yesterday when I stood in that pulpit to serve as God’s voice. I was ecstatic about being able to serve the Lord and share His message, and, in all fairness, I was a bit overwhelmed as well.

So I thought to myself, “What the heck, why not share it with everyone online,” which would be in keeping with the words of Jesus who said, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Rev. 3:22). That said, I hope the Lord speaks to your heart through this message as He did for those who heard it those many years ago. Why not? Even though times have changed, God and His word remains the same.

Blessings.
