Hang in There, The Best Is Yet to Come!

In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

John 16:33

In the world in which we live, people will always judge others based on worldly factors, such as a person’s level of education, a person’s status in the community, where a person sits in an organization, the clothes she wears, or the car he drives, and so on. Suppose a person with a doctorate or a master’s degree is seen washing dishes at a restaurant. The world views him as someone with a low intelligence quotient or IQ. They would consider that person as someone who is of little or no value to society, someone who is beneath them.

Thank God that in His kingdom, everyone is valued equally and integral to the greater whole of His holy work. In God’s kingdom, it’s not all about the individual; it’s about God. No jobs in heaven are considered to be of little value, mundane, or meaningless. The saints who perform those tasks are not regarded as great or small, wise or unwise, intelligent or unintelligent; instead, they are viewed as good and faithful servants.

So when the world drags you down, treats you as inferior to itself, and devalues your intellect, remember that you are created in the image of your Creator — the image of God. You are unique to God, and He values you greatly. He values and loves you so much that He paid the ultimate price so that you may one day walk with Him on the streets of gold in His kingdom.

God began to change the world by spreading the gospel through the faithful service of twelve men who were fishermen, tax collectors, and other tradesmen. So ask yourself, “What then can He accomplish through me and my faithful service?” Answer His call today by lifting a prayer, saying, “Here I am Lord, send me!” Let us each serve as the Holy Spirit leads and take comfort, knowing that the return of our Lord draws near and that the best is yet to come!

Excellent devotional sir! You’re right! In the kingdom of God no job, position or status is too great or small! God needs each of us to do the work he has put before us to do. For followers of Jesus Christ, Ephesians 2:10 tells us God has specific work for us to do. First Peter 4:10 also encourages us to use the gifts and skills God has given us to be servants unto others to take care of them. Everything we do should bring glory to God! Thank you sir for these important reminders today! Many blessings to you my friend! ….. Here I am, send me! 😃
