The authors at A Faithful Sower believe:

Divinely inspired men wrote the collective books of the Holy Bible and that the combined work serves as God’s revelation of Himself to man. Therefore, we emphasize the exegesis and exposition of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation, verse by verse, and precept upon precept.

There is only one living and true God. He has chosen to reveal Himself to man in the form of three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and the flow of the stream of human history according to the purposes of His grace. He is all powerful, all knowing, all loving, and all wise. God is Father in truth to those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ. He is fatherly in His attitude toward all men.

In the deity of Jesus Christ and that He is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. His redemptive work on the cross made the provision for the redemption of man from sin. Jesus rose from the grave and ascended into heaven where He now sits at the right hand of God, but shall, one day, return to earth and establish His millennial kingdom.

The Holy Spirit, the third member of the holy trinity, is the Spirit of God who is fully divine. He indwells Christian believers to guide them in righteousness and to convict them of sin. He cultivates Christian character, comforts believers, and bestows the spiritual gifts by which they serve God through His church. He seals the believer until the day of final redemption.

There is no spiritual salvation apart from being born again into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.

Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.
